Navify has three theme blocks. All of them are added from the Storefront and widgets screen, which opens the Shopify theme editor with the block already in place.
| Block | What it does | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Full locator | Full-screen map with search and a list | One page, usually your stores page |
| Map on page | Compact list and map | Pages, blog posts or collections |
| Store near you | The nearest place, after the visitor shares their location | The product page (Essential) |
Full locator
- On the Full locator tab, under Your stores page, choose a page. If you don’t have one, use Create a page in Shopify, then come back and reopen the screen.
- Save the options.
- Use Add the locator to this page. The theme editor opens with the block added.
- Click Save in the theme editor.
- Add that page to your store’s menu in Shopify.
The other blocks show a See full map link that opens this page.
Map on page
- Use Add to pages, or the matching button for blog posts or collections.
- Click Save in the theme editor.
- Back in the app, under Where it appears, choose whether the block shows everywhere it was added or only on the pages you select.
Store near you
- Use Add to the product page.
- In the theme editor, drag the block below the buy button and click Save.
The block shows a prompt and loads nothing until the visitor asks for the nearest store.
Set the look
Colors, fonts, corners, spacing, map height, list order, filters and what each place card shows are all set on Storefront and widgets, with a preview. Leave custom appearance off to use your theme’s font and text color. The theme editor only positions the block.
Check the block status
The screen shows whether each block is active in your published theme. The status is checked when the screen opens, so reopen it after saving in the theme editor.
Nothing shows up?
- Is at least one place published and with a location?
- Did you click Save in the theme editor?
- Did you change a place a moment ago? The store may show the old data for up to 5 minutes.
